You can easily rent commercial units for your business through our website HDB Place2Lease or via our appointed Marketing Agents. There are a few types of commercial units available.

New Generation Neighbourhood Centres (NGNCs)

NGNCs offer a wide array of commercial facilities and services, such as supermarkets, food courts, restaurants, enrichment schools, and retail shops. They are also designed with community spaces, such as sheltered community plazas, where events can be held.   

Residents will be able to enjoy the convenience of having shops and facilities located under one roof, when they move into their new homes.

NGNCs will also be directly connected to transport nodes, such as an MRT/ LRT station or bus stops and linked to the surrounding residential blocks via covered walkways and pedestrian thoroughfares.

Eating House Price-Quality Method (PQM) Tender

The Housing & Development Board (HDB) is calling a tender for the tenancy and operation of one (1) Eating House by Price-Quality Method (PQM). Under the PQM tender, we will consider not just the tender price but also the quality of the proposal when awarding tender.

We will evaluate quality by looking at factors such as food affordability, productivity initiatives, and the availability of healthier food options. By accounting for quality when awarding tenders, we hope that residents will be able to enjoy more innovative and affordable eating options in their neighbourhood.

The tender for Blk 653A Punggol Drive #01-01 (Waterway Sunrise II) will close on 04 April 2023 (Tuesday) at 11.00 am sharp.

 

Tender documents can be purchased from 08 March 2023 to 15 March 2023 at $10 per set (inclusive of GST) at Atrium 3rd Storey, Commercial Properties of HDB Hub on Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm (excluding public holidays). There is strictly no extension of time for the purchase of tender documents.

Supermarket Price-Quality Method (PQM) Tender

HDB tenders out supermarkets using the Price-Quality Method (PQM). Under the new PQM tender, we will consider not just the tender price, but also the quality of the proposal when awarding tenders.

We will take into account quality factors in the tenderer’s proposal, such as their productivity initiatives, mode of operations (including pricing and offering of healthier options), and community-centric programmes or activities that give back to society. By including quality measures, we hope to encourage better business productivity and management, as well as ensuring the availability of affordable essential grocery items.

The supermarket at Blk 653B Punggol Drive #01-06 is available for tender from 08 March 2023 (Wednesday) to 04 April 2023 (Tuesday), 11:00am.
