Little Heartland Beanies
The Little Heartland Beanies have landed on Earth! These are 5 adorable characters who believe in the power of teaching everyone around them to be eco-friendly and to be good neighbours as they cannot imagine a world where people do not care about the environment or each other.
Once upon a time, on the planet of Woka Woka where all the beanies in the universe lived, there were five best friends named Greenie, Croobie, Rubie, Ernie and Winkie.
Each of them have unique characteristics!
Greenie absolutely loves gardening and is very careful about where he puts his beloved plants and belongings. No placing of any items on the ledges where they may fall and hit someone! Whenever he does gardening, he will grab a handful of seeds from his trademark sling bag and with a light touch of his magical fingers, plants will start sprouting and flowers will bloom.
Always seen with his skateboard, Croobie detests air pollution and the exhaust fumes that come out of motor vehicles. That is because Croobie has weak lungs and impurities in the air make him choke easily. He is the most peace loving Beanie among his friends and does not like to see his friends quarrel. “We can always talk things out” is his motto.
Rubie's handicraft skills are the finest in the universe, and she can make the most beautiful things out of seemingly unwanted items. Her philosophy is always to reduce first, before reusing and recycling. Rubie knows that leaving her items in common corridors and spaces will pose a fire hazard so she makes sure to keep them away neatly so that no one will trip and fall. She is most easily recognisable by her famous inverted saucepan-hat, and unmistakeable buttons made from bottle caps!
Due to an accident that took place while he was a baby beanie, Ernie is extremely sensitive to energy usage and twitches uncontrollably whenever there is overusage of energy around him. This causes all appliances within 5 meters of him to shut down! He is very friendly and greets his friends and neighbours everyday with his megawatt smile and a cheerful “Hello!” He loves to have everyone play together and be happy.
Since young, Winkie has always been drawn to water. He has the special power to freeze water flow from any water appliances whenever he detects that water is wasted! His ears are most sensitive and can detect the softest sound coming out from the deepest corner, such as a leaking pipe. Poor Winkie gets most upset whenever people shout or play too loudly because the loud noise will hurt his sensitive ears.
The 5 Little HeartlanD Beanies believe in the power of teaching everyone around them to be eco-friendly and to be good neighbours. They could not imagine a world where people did not care about their environment or about each other.
So when the Little HeartlanD Beanies heard about other exciting planets in the universe, they wanted to see all these interesting places and to experience how the residents in those planets lived, cared for one another and their environment.
So many places to see, but where to start? The five curious beanies decided to make their first stop at the closest planet to Woka Woka; a beautiful place called earth.
Stay tuned for their adventure stories!
