Resale flat sellers and buyers can transact via My Flat Dashboard and be guided step-by-step on their journey to complete the transaction.
To start the flat selling journey, sellers must register an Intent to Sell by logging on to My Flat Dashboard using their Singpass. The Intent to Sell allows them to check their eligibility to sell and remind them of the need to secure their next accomodation. If they plan to buy another HDB flat, please advise them to apply for an HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter for a holistic understanding and assessment of their housing and financing options of they have not already done so.
The Intent to Sell must be registered personally by the sellers. Nonetheless, as a salesperson, you can guide your seller-clients through the process.
Upon registering an Intent to Sell, sellers will be informed of when they may start to grant an Option to Purchase (OTP) to their flat buyers. They will also receive information about the Ethnic Integration Policy (EIP) and Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) Quota for their flat, status of upgrading, billing status of upgrading costs, as well as recent transacted prices of nearby flats.
