Submission Process

Take note of the following if you would like to submit building plans, civil and structural plans, or mechanical and electrical plans. You are required to submit the building plan to the Building and Construction Authority/ Fire Safety & Shelter Department.

Use HDB (ARCH) for architectural work involving:

    • Residential (Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme/ Build-To-Order)
    • Commercial
    • Industrial
  • Upgrading projects
    • Lift Upgrading Programme
    • Rental Upgrading Programme
Use HDB (C&S) for structural work involving:
  • Civil and structural work for new development and upgrading projects
  • Addition & Alteration Works to HDB property
Use HDB (M&E) for mechanical and electrical work involving:
  • Mechanical and electrical work for new development and upgrading projects
  • Fire safety work for new development and upgrading projects

We must approve C&S plans before they are submitted to the Building and Construction Authority and/ or the Fire Safety and Shelter Department.
