1 - Treelodge@Punggol

Treelodge@Punggol is HDB’s first eco-precinct, with features that harness the elements of nature to promote sustainable green living. This precinct is a BCA Green Mark Platinum Award-winning project, and is well-known for its green building technologies and design innovations which provide a liveable green lifestyle for its residents. The design innovations include:

• Podium car park
The design of the podium car park allows the residential blocks to be spaced further apart for better cross-ventilation within the precinct. The ceiling is much higher than other multi-storey car parks, thus enhancing heat dissipation and improving ventilation and lighting.

• Eco-Deck
The car park's roof, the Eco-Deck, is a landscaped activity centre with the Green Spine linking all precinct amenities. Enhanced greenery along the Green Spine not only reduces heat build-up in the precinct, but also minimises glare and provides better and greener visual relief for home owners.

• Rainwater Harvesting System
This system collects and stores rainwater, which is recycled for washing common corridors and watering plants.

2 - My Waterway@Punggol

My Waterway@Punggol, designed and built by HDB, is Singapore’s first man-made waterway. The 4.2-kilometre waterway meanders through the entire Punggol Eco-Town. The waterway and landscape promenade design embraces the area's rich coastal heritage, providing more opportunities for water-based recreational activities and sports right next to the heartlands. From freshwater mangroves that clean the water to themed outdoor furniture made from recycled materials, My Waterway@Punggol is an achievement in urban sustainability.

3 - Kelong Bridge

The Kelong Bridge captures the idyllic mood of old Punggol's fishing villages. The bridge's stilts-and-posts wooden design serves to remind residents of Punggol village's heritage, and is aptly located in the heritage zone of the Punggol Waterway Park.

4 - Heritage Area

We have preserved the old bus stop and a 160-metre stretch of the old Punggol Road for residents to relive a piece of history while enjoying the waterway. The old bus stop serves as a sheltered rest stop and brings to mind memories of old Punggol. Together with the Kelong Bridge, they form part of the 1.3-kilometre heritage trail that links Punggol Waterway Park to the Punggol Point waterfront.
