Renting of Land on Temporary Occupation Licence (TOL)

We maintain and manage vacant State land within HDB estates. Land that is not required for immediate development can be let out for short-term use on Temporary Occupation Licence (TOL). 

Renewable TOL

Renewable TOLs are issued to contractors who undertake Government projects, and developers who have successfully tendered for land sold via the various Government Land Sales Programmes. The land can be used for site offices, work sites, construction storage sites, and show flats. Your application will only be processed when we receive the full information. Please factor in an average processing time of 4 to 6 weeks when planning for the project.

Non-renewable TOL

Non-renewable TOLs are issued for community related uses. The land can be used for Wayang, religious functions, and trade fairs. Your application will only be processed when we receive the full information. Please factor in an average processing time of 2 to 4 weeks when planning for the project.
