To add or remove your immediate family members as occupiers of your flat, you can submit your application through either of these channels:

Login to MyHDB Page > My Flat > Purchased Flat > Flat Details and Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) > Flat Owner(s) / Occupier(s): The HDB Branch will process the application and inform the flat owners of the outcome.
Internet Personal Computer at any HDB Branch: If you need assistance, our staff will be there to guide you.

Required documents for adding an occupier

Please submit a copy of the following documents.

1	Identity card of proposed occupier NRIC (for Singapore Citizen/ Singapore Permanent Resident) Visit Pass or Work Pass with at least 6 months' validity (for non-citizen)
2	Proof of relationship Child - Birth Certificate Spouse - Marriage Certificate Sibling - Birth Certificates of owner and the sibling Parents - Birth Certificate of owner
3	Residential status Passport with at least 6 months' validity (for non-citizen) Entry/ Re-Entry Permit (for Singapore Permanent Resident and non-citizen)
4	Marital status (if applicable) Divorced - Divorce Certificate/ Final Judgement Separated - Deed of Separation
5	Income documents (if the flat is a subsidised flat and owners have not completed the required Minimum Occupation Period (MOP)^ of the flat)
	For employees	For self-employed persons	For unemployed persons
	Pay slips/ Employer's letter certifying the income for the past 12 months period that are 2 months preceding the month of the application; or Latest Notice of Assessment from IRAS including IR8A/ IR8E/ Form B if the above are not available; and Latest 15 months CPF Transaction History statement, including all CPF working contribution details	Latest Notice of Assessment from IRAS including IR8A/ IR8E/ Form B; or Certified Annual Statement of Accounts from an audit firm; or Pay slips/ Employer's letter certifying the income for the past 12 months period that are 2 months preceding the month of the application, if any; and Latest 15 months CPF Transaction History statement, including all CPF working contribution details	Statutory declaration on the period of unemployment with no income; or Pay slips/ Employer's letter certifying the income/ National Service allowance received, if any during the assessment period; or Student pass/ student status letter, if applicable; and Latest 15 months CPF Transaction History statement, including all CPF working contribution details

Required documents for removing an occupier

Please submit a copy of the following document if the reason to remove the occupier is due to divorce or separation.

Divorce - Divorce Certificate/ Final Judgement
Separation - Deed of Separation

We may request for original copy of the documents for verification, and any other relevant documents. If the required documents are not submitted, it may result in delay in processing or rejection of the application.
