Eligibility conditions

<p>You can apply for a 2-room Flexi flat during our sales launches. Application procedure

<p style="text-align: justify;" class="RTE_FootnoteLabel">* Note: Existing flat owners who qualify for the <a href="/buying-a-flat/bto-sbf-and-open-booking-of-flats/process-for-buying-a-new-flat/sign-agreement-for-lease?anchor=dds">Deferred Downpayment Scheme (DDS)</a> will only need to pay the stamp duty and legal fees when they sign the Agreement for Lease.</p>

Financing the flat purchase

<p>After you buy a flat, there are <a href="/buying-a-flat/bto-sbf-and-open-booking-of-flats/conditions-after-buying-a-new-flat">conditions</a> that apply to flat owners and occupiers.</p>
<h5>Return of short-lease 2-room Flexi flats</h5>
<p>A short-lease 2-room Flexi flat cannot be sold in the open market. If you no longer wish to live in it or become ineligible to do so, the flat must be returned to HDB. We will then pay you the value of the unused portion of the lease when you return the short-lease 2-room Flexi flat.</p>
