HDB&rsquo;s 2023 &lsquo;BTOgether&rsquo; Housing Affordability &amp; Accessibility Campaign clinched the MDDI Comms Excellence Awards held at MDDI HQ Atrium on 14 January 2025. The campaign, which was implemented in time with HDB&rsquo;s Build-To-Order (BTO) sales exercises, was the centrepiece of this achievement. The campaign aimed to reassure Singaporeans about housing affordability and accessibility, emphasising HDB&rsquo;s commitment to delivering quality and affordable flats for Singaporeans.
The MDDI Comms Excellence Awards is an annual initiative that celebrates innovative and impactful work by communications offices across the Whole-of-Government.

MDDI Comms Excellence Awards 2024

HDB's 'Streamlining the Digitisation of As-Built GeoSpatial Data through Automation' project won the GeoInnovation Award at ESRI Singapore&rsquo;s annual GeoInnovation Singapore Conference on 28 February 2025, which was attended by geospatial professionals and thought leaders.
HDB's project was recognised for its innovative use of geospatial technology to benefit the community, overcome business challenges, and improve operational efficiency.

GeoInnovation Award 2025

On 27 June 2025, HDB received 9 awards at the Landscape Industry Association Singapore (LIAS) Awards of Excellence for its work in collaboration with consultants and contractors. The awards recognise outstanding achievements in Singapore&rsquo;s landscape industry across 3 main categories: Landscape Design and Build Projects, Landscape Maintenance, and Special Categories. 
 
Bidadari Park received the Best of Category Award, whilst &lsquo;Adventure Playwoods @ Bidadari Park&rsquo; claimed the Gold Award. 4 projects &mdash; &lsquo;HDB Hub Greenwall&rsquo;, &lsquo;Keat Hong Verge&rsquo;, &lsquo;Punggol Point Crown&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Rivervale Shores&rsquo; &mdash; were honoured with Silver Awards, and 3 additional projects &mdash; &lsquo;West Coast Parkview&rsquo;, &lsquo;Keat Hong Verge&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Whampoa Park&rsquo; &mdash; received Bronze Awards in various categories.

Landscape Industry Association Singapore (LIAS) Awards of Excellence 2025

4 HDB projects &mdash; &lsquo;Bidadari Park Project&rsquo;, &lsquo;Construction of Polder at Pulau Tekong&rsquo;, &lsquo;Rejuvenation of Keat Hong Food Centre and Market Following 30-Year Lease Expiry&rsquo; and &lsquo;Resale Flat Listing Service &mdash; A Transparent, Reliable and Trusted Marketplace&rsquo; led by HDB received the Minister&rsquo;s Award at the MND National Day Observance Ceremony on 8 August 2025. 
 
This award recognises impactful projects that contributed to MND&rsquo;s vision of transforming Singapore into &lsquo;An Endearing Home, A Distinctive Global City&rsquo;.

Minister’s Award 2025

HDB&rsquo;s Green Towns Programme won the Global Sustainability (Sustainability Strategy) Award on 10 September 2025. The Green Towns Programme is a comprehensive 10-year plan on the implementation of green initiatives in existing public housing towns to improve residents' quality of life. Launched in 2020, the programme focuses on 4 key areas: reducing energy consumption, cooling HDB towns, optimising resources, and promoting green commuting. 
 
This award honours the most pioneering, purpose-driven, and impactful individuals and organisations championing sustainability on a global scale.

HDB&rsquo;s &lsquo;Transformation of Dawson Estate&rsquo; and &lsquo;Master Planning of Farrer Park Area&rsquo; projects won the Gold Award and Special Mention Award respectively at the 9th Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) Planning Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner on 24 September 2025. 
 
These prestigious awards recognise urban planners and consultancy firms in Singapore and beyond for their excellence in urban planning with emphasis on areas such as inclusivity, liveability, sustainability, and resiliency.

Singapore Institute of Planners (SIP) Planning Award 2025

HDB co-developed 2 innovative engineering solutions &mdash; Microwave Scanning Technology (MST) and Corrosion-Resistant Repair (CRR) &mdash; with our research partners for ageing flats. These technologies enable proactive maintenance and mitigation, enhancing the durability of ageing flats whilst improving residents&rsquo; quality of life. These engineering breakthroughs won the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award at the Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO) in the Philippines on 30 October 2025. 
 
This award recognises exceptional engineering projects and individuals in the ASEAN region that demonstrate technical excellence, innovation, and significant contribution to engineering progress and quality of life.

Waterfront I &amp; II @ Northshore, was recognised on the international stage, winning the World Smart City Awards at the Smart City Expo World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain on 5 November 2025. 
 
The award celebrates city strategies, projects, and leaders who are making cities more liveable, sustainable, and responsive to citizens&rsquo; needs. This recognition highlights HDB&rsquo;s contribution to Singapore&rsquo;s Smart Nation vision and demonstrates how our multi-disciplinary teams are successfully implementing smart initiatives across all new public housing developments.

Ong Teng Cheong Institute (OTCi) Workplace Partnership Award 2025

HDB received 3 awards for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices, Age Inclusive Practices, and Work-Life Excellence at the Tripartite Alliances Award (TAA) Ceremony on 14 November 2025. 
 
The award conferred by the tripartite partners &ndash; Ministry of Manpower, National Trades Union Congress, and Singapore National Employers Federation &ndash; recognises and celebrates organisations that excel in building fair and progressive workplaces and keep employees at the heart of their progress. These awards are testament to HDB&rsquo;s commitment in promoting an age-inclusive workplace, and a healthy and engaged workforce.

Tripartite Alliance Award 2025

On 14 November 2025, 4 HDB projects were awarded the Landscape Excellence Assessment Framework (LEAF) Certification. Bidadari Park was awarded the Platinum certification, Punggol Point Crown and Rivervale Shores were awarded the Silver certification, and Whampoa Park was certified. 
 
The LEAF certification scheme recognises excellence in efforts of developers, landscape architects, architects, contractors, and maintenance agents in creating high quality urban landscapes, contributing to Singapore&rsquo;s journey to be a City in Nature.

Municipal Services Awards 2025

HDB received the prestigious LiDAR Leader Awards for Outstanding Team Achievement in LiDAR at Geo Week held in Denver, USA from 11 to 13 February 2024, for the project on Intelligent Mapping and Querying of Singapore&rsquo;s Residential Estates. The award is given to teams who have made a significant impact on their organisation or community involving technical excellence, professional development, or innovation within the realm of LiDAR and geospatial technology.
HDB is the first organisation outside of the USA to be awarded at this international forum on LiDAR and geospatial technology.

On 1 March 2024, Clementi NorthArc received the Landscape Excellence Assessment Framework (LEAF) Certification - Silver Award for its outstanding landscape design and implementation.
The LEAF certification scheme recognises the creation of ecologically, climatically, and socially resilient parks and developments in Singapore&rsquo;s urban landscape, in line with the vision of making Singapore a City in Nature.

Landscape Excellence Assessment Frame (L.E.A.F.) Certification 2024

HDB&rsquo;s Design Change Identification project clinched the top prize at the inaugural Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hackathon for the Built Environment Sector at Singapore Archifest, held from 15 to 17 May 2024.
Spearheaded by the Singapore Institute of Architects, the hackathon aimed to upskill young architects and practitioners in AI by taking a collaborative approach to developing practical solutions that mechanise tasks, streamline processes, and enhance productivity via digital tools and innovative methodologies.

HDB won the prestigious World Gold award for Bidadari estate in the Master Plan category at the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards on 30 May 2024.
The award recognises projects that best embody excellence in all real estate disciplines involved in their creation, providing society with optimal solutions to its property needs.

4 Tengah Build-To-Order (BTO) projects &ndash; Parc Clover@Tengah, Parc Residences@Tengah, Garden Terrace@Tengah, and Garden Court@Tengah &ndash; were awarded the Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Gold Certification during the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) ABC Waters Seminar, held on 21 June 2024 at the Sands Expo &amp; Convention Centre.
Additionally, 16 more projects &ndash; Keat Hong Verge, Woodleigh Glen, Kim Keat Beacon, Tampines GreenGlade, Ubi Grove, Northshore Edge, Tampines Green Court, Woodleigh Village, Whampoa Park, Champions Green, Limbang Shopping Centre and Tampines GreenSpring &ndash; were also awarded the Active, Beautiful, Clean Water (ABC Waters) Certification during the event.
This certification recognises public agencies and private developers for implementing ABC Waters design features in their developments.

4 HDB projects &ndash; Budget Meals at HDB Coffeeshops, Master Planning of Bayshore Estate, Residual Current Breaker (RCCB) Installation Assistance Programme and Relocation of Rental Tenants Using a Care Team Approach led by HDB &ndash; received the Minister&rsquo;s Award at the MND National Day Observance Ceremony on 8 August 2024.
This award recognises impactful collaborative projects that contributed to MND&rsquo;s vision of transforming Singapore into &ldquo;An Endearing Home, A Distinctive Global City&rdquo;.

On 1 October 2024, 25 projects and 58 HDB colleagues received the Municipal Services Awards (MSA) in the Team and Community categories for their efforts in resolving municipal issues in an integrated and citizen-centric manner. Of the 25 projects, 4 were conferred the MSA (Apex award), 1 received the Certificate of Commendation, and 20 received the Certificate of Appreciation.

Municipal Services Awards 2024

On 15 October 2024, HDB received the Institute of Engineers, Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award at its 58th Annual Dinner. 
This award recognises HDB&rsquo;s innovative and sustainable use of geotextile tubes, filled with excavated soft soil collected from the local construction industry, in the construction of coastal seawall.

The Queensway Canopy BTO project was conferred the prestigious Gold Winner award, while the Rail Garden and Rail Green I &amp; II @ Choa Chu Kang BTO projects received the Silver Winner award, at the Global Future Design Awards on 15 October 2024. 
This award recognises the project&rsquo;s innovative approach to redefining architecture through novel technologies, materials, programmes, and design aesthetics.

For the sixth consecutive year, HDB and the HDB Staff Union (HDBSU) were jointly honoured with the Ong Teng Cheong Institute (OTCi) Workplace Partnership Award (Double Platinum) at the OTCi Graduation Ceremony on 30 November 2024.
This award affirms the strong and sustained bipartite relationship fostered between HDB and HDBSU through their participation in the Institute&rsquo;s programmes.

Achievements
