Landowner&rsquo;s endorsement</h5>
<p>
You need to obtain the landowner&rsquo;s endorsement (if required by the Urban Redevelopment Authority) from our Properties &amp; Land Group (Land Information Department).</p>
<h5>
Qualified Person (QP)</h5>
<p>
The QP engaged by the Town Council must submit the Declaration for submission by Qualified Person (Town Council covered linkway/ ramp) to us before submitting the approval for the building plan to the Building and Construction Authority.</p>
<p>
The QP needs to certify and ensure the compliance of the following:</p>
<ul>
    <li>
    The building work fulfils the relevant building regulations, standards, code of practice, and other conditions stated in the in-principle approval</li>
    <li>
    Approval must be obtained from the relevant authorities for the proposed works and existing services affected by the works</li>
    <li>
    The proposed work does not affect the structural integrity of the existing HDB structures/ slopes. The new structures are independently supported with no adding of new load or encroachment to the existing structures/ foundation. New footings next to existing footings are located outside the 45-degree stress influence zone and their depths are not more than that of the existing footings</li>
    <li>
    The linkway adjoining the driveway is designed for accidental impact load, or provided with protective crash barrier/ bollard at a minimum distance of 600mm away from the edge of road (if applicable)</li>
    <li>
    The proposed work does not affect or change the direction of flow in the existing drain (if applicable)</li>

<p>
You need to obtain in-principle approval from our Properties &amp; Land Group Commercial Properties Management Department/ Commercial Complexes Department.</p>

Qualified Person (QP)</h5>
<p>
The QP engaged by the tenant must submit&nbsp;the Declaration for submission by Qualified Person (Outdoor Refreshment Area) to us before submitting the approval for the building plan to the Building and Construction Authority.</p>

The QP needs to certify and ensure the compliance of the following:</div>
<ul>
    <li>
    The building work presented fulfils the relevant building regulations, standards, code of practice, and other conditions stated in the in-principle approval</li>
    <li>
    Approval has been obtained from the relevant authorities for the proposed work and existing services affected by the work</li>
    <li>
    The proposed work does not affect the structural integrity of the existing HDB structures/ slopes. The new structures are independently supported with no adding of new load or encroachment to the existing structures/ foundation. New footings next to existing footings are located outside the 45-degree stress influence zone and their depths are not more than that of the existing footings</li>
    <li>
    The actual location of the ORA is shown in the Block Layout Plan</li>
    <li>
    All proposed works, including the location of existing foundation, are demarcated to distinguish them from the existing structure</li>
    <li>
    The ORA adjoining the driveway is designed for accidental impact load or provided with a protective crash barrier/ bollard at a minimum distance of 600mm away from the edge of road (if applicable)</li>
    <li>
    The proposed work does not affect or change the direction of flow in the existing drain (if applicable).</li>
    <li>
    A concrete roof has to be used for the ORA next to a building that is higher than 4 storeys</li>

Independently supported Outdoor Refreshment Areas (ORA)

In-principle approval</h5>
<p>
You need to obtain in-principle approval from us through the &lsquo;Application for Renovation Permit via Electronic Transaction&rsquo; (APEX) system.</p>
<h5>
Qualified Person (QP)</h5>
<p>
The QP has to liaise with HDB-registered renovation contractors/ tenants for the submission of the Building and Construction Authority&rsquo;s permit to start work and approved drawings. These documents must be sent to us via the APEX system before we can issue the HDB renovation permit.</p>
