On Saturday, 3 October 2026, the section of Bartley Road between Mount Vernon Road and Bidadari Park Drive will be temporarily closed to traffic from 1:00 am to 5:30 am, to facilitate the removal of an old pedestrian overhead bridge near Bartley Christian Church.

2 To replace the old bridge, a new pedestrian overhead bridge has been constructed nearby. Lift access at the new bridge will be available by December 2026, providing improved connectivity for residents of nearby housing developments, such as Bartley GreenRise and Bartley Beacon, as well as other residents of Bidadari estate.

3 During the temporary road closure, motorists are advised to use the alternative route along Bidadari Park Drive, Bartley Walk and Mount Vernon Road. Residents of Bartley Beacon can still enter and exit the development using the existing access points at Bidadari Park Drive and Mount Vernon Road. Bus and MRT services will continue to operate normally. Please refer to the layout plan in the Annex for details on the temporary road closure and diversion routes.

4 Barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists. Traffic controllers will also be stationed on site to guide motorists during the closure period. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow the information signs displayed.
