A section of West Coast Highway, between the road junctions of West Coast Highway/ West Coast Link and West Coast Highway/ Pandan Crescent, will be temporarily closed to traffic in both directions from Tuesday 2 September 2025 to Thursday 4 September 2025, from 11:00pm till 5:00am on the next day.

2 The temporary road closures are needed to facilitate the construction of a new pedestrian overhead bridge across West Coast Highway, near Block 801 West Coast Crescent.

3 The new pedestrian overhead bridge, which is estimated to be completed in 1Q2026, will provide residents of nearby housing developments with a closer, sheltered connection to West Coast Park and an existing bus stop along West Coast Highway (Northbound). The pedestrian overhead bridge will also provide barrier-free access for pedestrians, as ramps and lifts will be installed.

4 During the road closures, motorists are advised to use West Coast Link and West Coast Road as an alternative route to the closed segment of West Coast Highway. One lane will remain open for public buses until the last bus service ends. Access to Pandan Crescent will remain open during this period. Please refer to the layout plan in the Annex for details on the temporary road closure and diversion routes.

5 Barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and follow the information signs displayed.
