Upcoming Flat Supply

HDB will offer about 6,800 Build-To-Order flats in Choa Chu Kang, Kallang Whampoa, Queenstown, and Tengah in the upcoming sales launch in early October. In the final sales exercise of 2023, which will be held in December 2023, HDB will offer about 6,000 flats in towns/estates such as Bukit Panjang, Jurong West, Woodlands, Bedok, Bishan, Bukit Merah and Queenstown. These numbers are subject to review as more project details will be firmed up closer to the launch date. HDB remains on track to launch 23,000 flats in 2023 and a total of 100,000 flats from 2021 to 2025.

2 HDB’s flash estimate of the 3rd Quarter 2023 Resale Price Index (RPI) is 178.4, an increase of 1.2% over that in the 2nd Quarter of 2023 (see Annexes A1 and A2). This is lower than the 1.5% growth in 2nd Quarter 2023 and lower than the average quarterly growth of 2.5% in 2022.

3 The resale volume in 3rd Quarter 2023 (up to 28 Sep) is 6,592. This is 2.9% higher than the previous quarter (6,409 up to 28 Jun) but 9.7% lower than the same period last year (7,298 cases). It is also the lowest 3rd Quarter volume compared to the last three years since 2020.

4 The RPI provides information on the general price movements in the resale public housing market. The transacted prices of individual flats (by block and flat type) can be found via the e-services on HDB InfoWEB.
