A section of Tampines Street 61 will be temporarily closed to traffic from 23 April, 11:00pm to 24 April, 5:00am. The closed section of the road will be between the junction of Tampines Avenue 6 and Tampines Street 61, and the junction of Tampines North Drive 1 and Tampines Street 61.

2 The temporary road closure is for the construction of a new pedestrian overhead bridge which is estimated to be completed in end 2021. The new bridge will provide better connectivity for the residents of the nearby public housing developments, Tampines Greenweave and Tampines Greenridges.

3 With the temporary road closure, motorists are advised to use Tampines North Drive 1 and Tampines Avenue 6 as alternative routes.

4 Barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and observe the information signs displayed. Please refer to the layout plan in the Annex for details on the temporary road closure and diversion routes.
