On 7 April 2021, a section of Pasir Ris Drive 8 will be temporarily closed to traffic from 1:00am to 5:00am. The section of Pasir Ris Drive 8 to be closed is between Pasir Ris Drive 1 and the slip roads to and from the Tampines Expressway (TPE) Exit 3B and 3C.

2 The temporary road closure is for the construction of a new pedestrian overhead bridge. The overhead bridge is estimated to be completed by end 2021, while lifts for the bridge will be provided by March 2022. The new bridge will provide better connectivity for the residents of the nearby public housing development, Costa Ris, and the condominium developments along Pasir Ris Grove.

3 With the temporary road closure, motorists entering or exiting Pasir Ris Town from and to the TPE are advised to use Pasir Ris Drive 12, Elias Road and Loyang Avenue. To access Pasir Ris Grove, motorists are advised to enter from Pasir Ris Drive 1.

4 Barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to drive carefully and observe the information signs displayed. Please refer to the layout plan in the Annex for details on the temporary road closure and diversion routes.
