Application and Update Procedure

Please refer to these instructions to apply for a Licence for Home Office Scheme, or to update your business particulars.


You can apply for your Licence for Home Office Scheme, valid for 5 years, via GoBusiness. A non-refundable administration fee of $20 is required. You will need to prepare the following:

  • SingPass
  • Credit card (Visa or Mastercard) for payment
Upon submission and payment, an acknowledgement email should be sent to your given email address for your reference. 

Application by a Third Party Filer

A Third Party Filer is a member of a professional firm or filer who is authorised to make a submission on your behalf. In such cases, your Third Party Filer will need the following to make the application via GoBusiness:

  • Your NRIC number
  • A Letter of Authorisation from you
  • SingPass
  • Credit card (Visa or MasterCard) for payment

Income tax

Do note that any income earned or received in Singapore from trade, business, profession, and/ or vocation will be subject to income tax. You can check the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore website for more information on this.

Updates/ changes to your business particulars

If there are any changes in your business activity, you will need to:
