Training Courses

In partnership with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Academy , we have developed 2 training courses.

  • Renovation for Public Housing – mandatory for renovation and windows contractors and applicants applying to be listed in the Directory of Renovation Contractors
  • Planning and Management of Home Renovation

These courses aim to enhance the level of professionalism in the renovation industry, for public housing in particular.

Course Description Language Registration Details
Renovation for Public Housing (mandatory) Business owners and authorised persons are required to undergo this 2-day training course conducted by trainers from:
  • BCA Academy
  • HDB
  • Other statutory boards/ agencies
  • Industry specialists
Course outline:
  • HDB’s guidelines
  • Do’s and don’ts for renovation and electrical works
  • Authorities’ requirements, e.g. relevant building regulations, technical guidelines

Skills Development Fund (SDF) subsidy

If your company is a Small or Medium-sized Enterprise, you can check with the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to see if you or your staff are eligible for an SDF subsidy for these courses. You can apply for the SDF subsidy using WDA’s SkillsConnect system.
