    HDB’s flash estimate of the 4th Quarter 2019 Resale Price Index (RPI) is 131.4, an increase of 0.4% over that in 3rd Quarter 2019 (see Annexes A1 and A2).  Based on the flash estimate, there was no change in the resale flat prices for the whole year of 2019.


    2          The RPI provides information on the general price movements in the resale public housing market. The transacted prices of individual flats (by block and flat type) can be found via the e-services on HDB InfoWEB.


    3          The RPI for the full quarter, together with more detailed public housing data, will be released on 23 January 2020.


    Upcoming Sales Launches


    4          In 2020, HDB will launch about 16,000 to 17,000 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats for sale. For the first BTO exercise in February 2020, HDB will offer about 3,000 BTO flats in Sembawang and Toa Payoh. In May 2020, HDB will offer about 3,700 BTO flats in Choa Chu Kang, Pasir Ris, Tampines and Tengah. Of these, the flats in Choa Chu Kang have shorter waiting time.
