Installation Guide
 

Flat owner shall be responsible for the proper installation, safety and stability of the air-con (casement/window unit/split type). Air-con must be installed only by a BCA trained air-con installer.

Method of installation/location of air-con window unit and split type condensing unit must be in accordance with the approved location and installation method.

Note: Flat owners can check with their HDB Branch Office if they need to install additional compressor units or inquire on the location and method of installation for Air-conditioner.


Advisory Notes on Air-conditioner Tray

No tray or receptacle should be placed beneath and/or on top of any air-conditioning unit so as to avoid condition favourable for mosquito breeding. NEA may take legal action against anyone who creates a condition favourable to the breeding of mosquitoes.
