HDB will be holding a two-day "Shaping My Punggol" Exhibition at Punggol on 17 & 18 May 2008.

2         Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced plans to remake the heartland into more vibrant homes at the 2007 National Day Rally. HDB had received overwhelming response to the plans for Punggol under the Remaking Our Heartland Exhibition in Sep 2007.

3         Over the last eight months, the plans for Punggol have been shaping up well. HDB will be sharing updates of the exciting progress with Punggol residents at the exhibition to be held this weekend.

4         Resident engagement will also be a critical aspect of Shaping My Punggol. Residents will be invited to share their ideas and aspirations for their Waterfront Town of the 21st Century so that the best possible ideas can be harvested.

5         The two-day exhibition will be held at the open field next to Punggol Plaza and the public can visit the exhibition at the following date and times :-

          Saturday, 17 May 2008 - 12 pm to 9 pm
          Sunday, 18 May 2008 - 10 am to 9 pm
