Obtain Spouse Consent for the Sale

HDB requires the seller's spouse (if not a lessee) to endorse the Resale Application Form, as the spouse constitutes an integral part of the family nucleus.

FAQ

I am the sole owner of my flat and my wife is listed as an authorised occupier. Do I have to get my wife's consent in selling the flat?

Yes. You need to obtain your wife's consent to the resale of the flat even though she is an authorised occupier and not an owner of the flat. She has to give her consent by endorsing on the relevant section of the Resale Application Form.
