Produce Duplicate Lease/Title Deed

The lessee selling his flat in the open market must produce the Duplicate Lease/Title Deed (if issued) for the resale to be processed.

FAQ

I am a lessee of an HDB flat and I am thinking of selling it. However, I have lost the duplicate lease of my flat. How do I get it replaced?

Normally, you will have to appoint a private solicitor to act in the application for a fresh subsidiary certificate of title with the Singapore Land Registry. However, if the flat is going through a resale (i.e. you have submitted a resale application to HDB for the resale of your flat), HDB can act for you in the application for a fresh subsidiary certificate from the Singapore Land Registry, provided the resale transaction has been approved and HDB is acting as solicitors in the resale transaction.
