Pay Service & Conservancy Charges and Property Tax

The lessee selling his flat in the open market must pay the service & conservancy charges and property tax up to the date of the resale completion.

On the day of the resale completion at the HDB Resale Office, the lessee (seller) must produce the official receipts for full payment of service & conservancy charges and property tax.

How does it affect my resale transaction if I have not fully paid up the service & conservancy charges due upon resale completion?

If you do not fully pay up the service & conservancy charges due up to the date of resale completion, the completion of the resale transaction cannot be effected. On the day of resale completion, you must produce the official payment receipts as proof.

How does it affect my resale transaction if I have not fully paid up the property tax due upon resale completion?

Similarly, you are required to pay the property tax up to the date of resale completion. If you have not done so and you turn up on the day of resale completion, HDB will not be able to effect the completion of the resale transaction.
