Optional Component Scheme (OCS)

The OCS is a flexible, opt-in scheme that caters to the needs of different flat buyers. It gives you the added convenience of having your home closer to move-in condition by the time you collect your keys.

Items offered under OCS

OCS is offered to buyers of new flats under the Build-To-Order projects for added convenience. When a flat buyer opts in for OCS, the cost of the optional components will be added to the flat price.

For projects built using the Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) method, the flats will come with full floor finishes, internal doors, and sanitary fittings. Hence, the OCS is not applicable to these projects.

Enabling holistic home comforts through Universal Design (UD)

We design your block and precinct to be comfortable, accessible, and welcoming, by applying Universal Design (UD) features in all of our developments. Your home environment should cater to your living needs, both now and in the long term.

Our UD approach makes for everyday ease

UD as a concept aims to enable an environment that is user-friendly to all, which is especially important in Singapore in light of its ageing society. It also helps those with physical disabilities enjoy a better quality of life. UD thinking and features have been incorporated into the initial design of our projects since 2006.

UD in your precinct

Getting around your precinct is made easier with these features:
  • Barrier-free routes that seamlessly link up blocks, major activity nodes, and amenities such as bus-stops and pedestrian crossings
  • Ramps to easily negotiate level differences, which are as convenient to the traveller with luggage as they are to those with physical disabilities
  • A drop-off porch and ramp
  • Seats for residents
  • Handicapped parking lots
  • 3-generation fitness and play facilities, such as a playground for children of various ages and adult fitness stations for both the young and the elderly
  • Link bridges that connect the multi-storey car park roof garden and residential blocks, where applicable

UD in your block

These conveniences help create a more comfortable living environment:
  • Barrier-free access to every floor where possible
  • Community spaces and seats at the void deck and lift lobbies are great spots at which to bond with neighbours or rest
  • Porches at your block entrance create a welcoming ambience
  • Lift buttons in contrasting colours for easy visibility, together with Braille markings
  • Easy-to-understand pictograms for clearer communications

UD in your home

We have introduced a series of user-friendly fittings and finishes to our flats over the years, such as:
  • Lever taps and door handles
  • Rocker switches mounted at a lower height
  • Water closets
  • Safer clothes drying systems
In the newer flats, further UD features include:
  • Low height windows to enhance your view and enhance natural light
  • A larger eye-viewer at the main entrance door
  • Ramps at the main entrance, bathrooms, and service yard for easy access
  • Wider internal corridors and doorways to accommodate wheelchairs, and a wheelchair-accessible common bathroom
  • Floor layouts that can comfortably accommodate simple adaptations such as the installation of grab bars in the bathroom
  • Adjustable shower head in the bathrooms
