Step into a 360° panoramic theatre for an immersive experience of our residents' lifestyles. Listen to an emotive rendition of the popular national song, "Home", which captures the life experiences of many Singaporeans who grew up in our public housing estates.

The heartland begins from the comforts of your flat, to precincts where communities bond, and go beyond to the vibrant towns of life and activities.The living environment that we enjoy today is possible because of several successful housing policies and schemes.

In this zone, learn about our strategies in providing quality homes, cohesive communities, and vibrant towns for our residents.

The flat

Home ownership is the cornerstone of Singapore's public housing programme. To ensure the affordability and availability of good quality homes, we have introduced various housing schemes and policies. Learn more about how these policies and schemes help Singaporeans own an asset in the country.

The precinct

A precinct, or estate, is made up of residential blocks surrounding a central open space with community facilities. Find out about the strategic policies and programmes that help promote racial harmony and community bonding.

The town

Remaking Our Heartland (ROH)

What will happen to new, middle-aged, and old public housing estates?

Join Prime Minister, Mr Lee Hsien Loong in as he unveiled future housing plans during the 2007 National Day Rally speech.
