The Ethnic Integration Policy promotes ethnic harmony in public housing estates by maintaining prescribed block and neighbourhood proportions in each ethnic group. Under this policy, no further resale of flats to a particular ethnic group is allowed if it increases the proportion of the affected ethnic group beyond the prescribed limit in the block or neighbourhood. There is no restriction on sellers and buyers from the same ethnic group as it will not further increase the ethnic group's proportion in the block or neighbourhood. This policy is applied consistently to all ethnic groups.

HUDC properties are not affected by ethnic restriction.

You can find out the ethnic group eligibility for the current month through this facility. This facility will not show blocks of flats less than 5 years old.

The information is based on data in the current month and will be updated on the first of every month.

The information if used in the resale application will still be subject to HDB's approval.
